Google Nexus Prime Could Run Android 4.0
Google could be launching its next Nexus smartphone as early as October this year. The device is expected to be called the Google Nexus Prime and when it launches, it is likely to run a new version of Android (version 4.0). Android 4.0 is believed to be Ice Cream Sandwich. BGR has a few details on the technical specs (not confirmed) which indicate a 720p Super AMOLED HD screen measuring 4.5 inches along with a 1.5GHz processor which is believed to include the OMAP4460 chipset. The Nexus S was the previous model from Google and launched in December 2010 with the original Nexus One launching in January 2010. Launching the Nexus Prime in October will make it fall a few months earlier than first expected.
