webOS Developers Offered Free WP7 Smartphones by Microsoft
You will probably heard the news last week which saw HP close down the HP TouchPad tablet and Pre smartphones. Microsoft was quick to jump in and offer webOS developers all the tools they need to start up on the Windows Phone 7 platform. The tweet above is from Brandon Watson who works at Microsoft and has said: To Any Published WebOS Devs: We'll give you what you need to be successful on #WindowsPhone, incl.free phones, dev tools, and training, etc. Brandon Watson often uses different ways to reach out to developers. One example saw him recently post his mobile phone number on Twitter to allow developers to contact him personally about the platform. If you are a webOS developer and want to switch to WP7 then Brandons twitter account is over here.
